The next point is to setup and configure the CDM. Now I will divide it into two different modules.

Prerequisites for CDM

Here you will learn the installation of prerequisites for CDM such as a database server and an application server. And additionally you will need Subversion (SVN) to maintain the decisioning repository.

CDM 6.1 supports the following databases as of now

1. Oracle 10.2.0.1.0
2. Microsoft SQL Server 2005
3. DB2 8.1.1.120 FP13

CDM 6.1 supports the following application servers as of now

1. BEA WebLogic 9.2
2. IBM WebSphere 6.1.0.3
3. JBoss 4.0.5

CDM 6.1 supports the Subversion (SVN) 1.4.2 or 1.4.5

In order to setup and start working with CDM, you must have an application server, a database server and the SVN installed.
